Firefighter Michael Scott Carlo (b. 1967) was killed at the World Trade Center during fire and rescue operations following the terrorist attack of September 11, 2001. Carlo was a native of Whitestone, Queens and was assigned to Engine Co. 230 in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
