Jennifer Mazzotta was born and raised in Ridgewood and Maspeth, Queens. She graduated from Grover Cleveland High School in Ridgewood and St. Joseph’s College in Brooklyn. She was one of the youngest traders at Cantor Fitzgerald and was among 658 people Cantor Fitzgerald lost in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. In 2003, a street near where she grew up was named in her honor.
